Ven Thubten Chökyi will speak about Joy. Joy is a powerful positive state of mind that lifts us up out of the sinkhole of depression and destructive negative self- talk. Joy lets us celebrate our amazing successes and delight in the virtues of others enhancing happiness, resilience, connection and kindness

About the teacher: Thubten Chökyi is resident teacher for FPMT centres in WA, having previously been resident teacher at Chenrezig Institute and Vajrayana Institute. Chökyi was the international Director of Liberation Prison Project for 13 years. She is currently Vice Chair of the Australian Sangha Association and spiritual advisor to Sakyadhita Australia.
