Sayadaw U Kuṇḍadhāna will speak about the life and qualities of Sīvali Mahāthera, known in the Buddhist tradition as foremost in making gains. Who was he? What can we learn from his life and example? This talk offers an opportunity to reflect on his story and the relevance of his qualities for our own practice.
About the Speaker: Sayadaw U Kuṇḍadhāna was ordained as a Bhikkhu in 1991 by the Most Venerable Pa-Auk Sayadawgyi. In 2011, Sayadaw U Kuṇḍadhāna was given the responsibility to manage Pa-Auk Meditation Center in Dawei, Myanmar.
Currently he also oversees other Pa-Auk branches in Indonesia, such as Tamansari, Ciapus, Bogor. Sayadaw has taught in many countries - Malaysia, Singapore, America, Taiwan, Canada, England, Japan, Sri Lanka, China, Thailand and Vietnam.
