Silent Vesak Celebration
Metta Centre will be hosting a Vesak Celebration on the full moon day of May, the most auspicious day of the year as we commemorate our teacher, the Buddha’s birth, Enlightenment, and passing away. There are many ways to offer our gratitude and respect to the Buddha: flowers, incense, chants, and prostrations. Metta Centre’s annual Silent Vesak Celebration honours the Buddha with our silent practice. You may choose to practice in your own way in accordance with the Buddha’s teachings, or you may wish to use one of the exercises provided to participants for your practice at our Vesak Celebration.
