In today’s fast-paced world, women juggle a complex array of roles, from career to family, often leading to significant stress. The pressure to excel in every sphere can feel like an uphill battle, leaving many feeling drained and overwhelmed. Societal factors undoubtedly contribute to this burden, however a deeper exploration may reveal that lasting peace lies within. Traditional stress management techniques may provide temporary relief, however the profound wisdom of Buddhist philosophy offers a transformative approach. By delving into the intricacies of the mind, we can unearth root causes of stress and cultivate a resilient and balanced state of being. Join us for this inspiring talk from Anagarika Mahesha, who will share practical alternatives to help you enjoy a life free from the stresses and strains of modern living.   About Anagārikā Mahesha Seneviratne Anagarikā Mahesha, raised amidst the warmth of a loving family, cultivated a childhood marked by academic pursuits and a passion for traditional dance. Prior to her spiritual journey, she forged a successful career in the corporate world, rising to the position of Business Strategist within esteemed organisations. Despite these accomplishments, a profound sense of dissatisfaction persisted, prompting her to seek a higher truth. A transformative encounter with the Dhamma illuminated a new path. Embracing the Noble Path with fervour, she renounced her lay life to seek eternal bliss as an Anagarikā. Convinced of humanity's inherent right to understand the truth, she has since dedicated herself to a life of service. At Jethavanarama Buddhist Monastery, she finds solace and guidance under the wisdom and knowing of esteemed teachers. As an Anagarikā, her days are filled with purpose: conducting daily Buddhist counselling sessions, contributing to the development of the monastery's international school, and imparting wisdom to young minds at the monastery's Dhamma School. Through her profound understanding of Buddhist philosophy, Anagarikā Mahesha has become a beacon of hope for countless individuals from all walks of life. Her ability to offer solace and solutions through the Dhamma is complemented by her role as a sought-after speaker, inspiring both teachers and students to cultivate wholesome values and virtues on their path to enlightenment.   Hybrid event: Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an interactive session in person at the Metta Centre or online by clicking on this link to access the session: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83506489824?pwd=cmpNQ1ljSmFVYURLWVN1dWllYUN1dz09 Alternatively, you can dial in from your telephone (call charges apply): +61 2 8015 6011 | Meeting ID: 835 0648 9824| Passcode: 718905
