Come along for an evening dedicated to cultivating mettā - loving-kindness. Whether you're just starting out or have years of meditation experience, this session offers a welcoming space to deepen your practice and connect with others.
The session will include:
Loving-Kindness Meditation: Guided practices to develop metta towards ourselves and others. These practices are beginner-friendly while still offering depth for experienced practitioners. They help us settle the mind, open the heart, and gently reconnect with ourselves.
Sharing and reflection: A chance to share your experiences in a supportive space, and to practise deep listening.
Group Q&A: Ask questions, hear from others, and support each other’s learning journeys.
Quote Reflections: We’ll read and reflect on short quotes together to spark insight and discussion.
These sessions are designed to foster spiritual friendships in a space where we can meditate together, learn and grow together. These sessions are beginner friendly, and support us in applying the Dhamma in our everyday lives.
Hybrid event: Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an interactive session in person at the Metta Centre or online by clicking on this link to access the session: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83506489824?pwd=cmpNQ1ljSmFVYURLWVN1dWllYUN1dz09 Alternatively, you can dial in from your telephone (call charges apply): +61 2 8015 6011 | Meeting ID: 835 0648 9824| Passcode: 718905
