Movies that Move Us: a film screening and discussion led by Venerable Pandit
Venerable Pandit returns to Metta Centre from Thailand for a session on “Movies that Move Us”. We will be screening a film and explore the question of beliefs, deception and whether teachers lead the people, or people lead the teachers.Venerable Pandit is a British monk ordained in Thailand since 1996. He has a degree in psychology and in Buddhist Studies from the Thai monk's university Mahaculalongkorn, just outside Bangkok. He runs the little Bangkok Sangha, which is the only English speaking group in Bangkok for Theravada Buddhism. As a practiced public speaker, his talks will be easy to follow, clear and precise.
