Mindful Life, Happy Life Course - Walking Together

Venerable Akāliko will be presenting at our Mindful Life, Happy Life Course once a month. In the second talk in this series, Venerable Akāliko will be exploring the importance of Spiritual Friendship in our lives. Having friendship with good people develops our potential on the spiritual path by supporting and encouraging our growth. Join Venerable Akāliko for a discussion on spiritual friendship and learn about the qualities we can cultivate within ourselves to be a truly good friend to others.

About the teacher: Venerable Akāliko is an Australian monk in the Theravada forest tradition. Venerable Akāliko first encountered Buddhism as a teenager and spent over twenty years practising with different traditions in Australia and overseas, before taking full ordination with Ajahn Brahm as his preceptor. His teaching brings the Buddha's timeless wisdom to today’s problems, helping people find peace and happiness in their lives. He currently resides with Venerable Sujato at Lokanta Vihara, (the Monastery at the End of the World) in Sydney, Australia. You can follow Venerable Akāliko on Facebook here: www.facebook.com/akalikobhikkhu and discover more about the Lokanta Vihara here: https://lokanta.github.io/
