Mettarama will be hosting a Post-Vassa Ceremony and all are invited! We will have mindful robe sewing, offering of completed robe as a gift of communal sewing by Mettarama Working Group and Volunteers, gratitude reflections and a Dhamma talk by Mettarama’s resident Bhikkhuni, Ayya Suvira.

We kindly ask participants to not bring robes to offer, as there is no need for them in the monastic community at present. 

Program:

2pm-2.45pm: mindful sewing of robe. Participants are invited to mindfully contribute symbolic stitching to the monastic robe as an act of communal generosity (sewing machine guidance provided by Ayya Suvira on day).

2.45pm: Welcome by Mettarama working group president Tina Ng and offering robe as gift of communal sewing

3pm-3.45pm: chanting followed by dhamma talk by Ayya Suvira

3:45pm-4:00pm: group photo and close
