Meditation and Introspection

Meditation and Introspection Speaker: Tina Ng Monday June 3 | 6.30-8pm AEST Location: In person at Western Sydney University (74 Rickard Rd, Bankstown City Campus), Room 1.4.34 on level 4 or Online (Zoom link below) Cost: Free   Meditation allows us to have a safe space to reflect back to ourselves with honesty, kindness and clarity, so we can better understand who we are, why we are, and how to change our unskillful habits to more skillful ones. In this journey of understanding what makes up our sense of "self", we need to first learn to polish this mirror forself-awareness and understanding, allowing us to confront past wounds with courage and kindness.By embracing impermanence and letting go of attachments, we can liberate themselves from the burdens of the past, fostering inner peace and resilience. Buddhism encourages a path of self-discovery and transformation, guiding individuals towards profound healing and a deeper understanding of what really is this "self" that we hold so tightly onto. Through a combination of real-life stories, and practical exercises, you'll learn how to harness the power of mindfulness and meditation to quiet the mind, soothe the heart, and awaken to your true nature. Note: These classes are a safe space for participants to share what they are going through and therefore the class is not recorded.
