Are you interested in being a part of setting up a Buddhist Aged Care Centre?

For many years the Buddhist community has spoken about wanting to set up urban spaces that allow those who wish to practice the Buddha’s teachings to live together in a supportive and welcoming environment. These spaces may be Buddhist aged care/ nursing home, retirement village, community living, etc. With our current housing crisis, rising costs of living, reported abuses in aged care facilities, and a growing aging population, we need more residential spaces that offer safety, kindness, and support to those who live there. It is intended that these spaces would host regular Buddhist events such as meditation and talks to the residents, as well as promote Vegetarianism and healthy living.

We currently have a golden opportunity to make this a reality, and we would very much like to have your input and involvement in this.

Come to tour the premises that may be used to set up an Aged Care facility, followed by a discussion afterwards on ideas to make this a reality.
